WHEELCHAIRS. CaHD has provided 220 chairs to date.
BASIC FOOD.
257 children are officially enrolled in CaHD and 243 are currently on the waiting list. Prior to COVID, each child's family received a monthly bag of food. This past year, 2020, each family only received 3 bags for a total of 411 bags.
EMERGENCY NEEDS.
Sometimes unplanned emergencies arise within the families we serve and we try to meet those needs with our limited resources. Past needs have been transportation to medical care facilities, funeral expenses and temporary housing issues.
